Creamy Italian Dressing

I made this dressing to go over some organic lettuce from the local organic farm, and some fresh tomatoes and cukes from our friend.  I also made homemade croutons to go with this, but that's a post for another day.  The dressing was so easy to make and I've always wanted to make a Creamy Italian.  It was good on this salad, and as a dip for fresh cucumbers, and I put it on some sandwiches another day, as well.

Creamy Italian Dressing
from Allrecipes

3/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 clove garlic, chopped

1.  In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, lemon juice, oil, water, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, sugar and garlic until smooth. Cover and chill before serving.  Add salt to taste, but remember that both the mayo and the Worcestershire sauce already have salt.

I was trying to figure out what to have for lunch--and this looked perfect to go with some spinach and garden cukes and tomatoes. So. Good.

Dishy, I made this dressing and it was really good. I liked it better after it sat for a few days as the flavors seemed to blend together more. Thank you!
